Community
Events
Each year, Cal Performances schedules educational events that provide our audiences with a variety of opportunities to engage with the programs on our stages. Sightlines are half-hour pre-performance talks given by artists and scholars in the performance venue; Key Notes is an annual, thematic series of talks about music curated with the UC Berkeley Department of Music; Lobby Talks are hour-long discussions held in the Zellerbach Hall Lobby mezzanine. Finally, Campus and Community Partnership events provide focused, in-depth forums, such as artist talks, symposia, conferences, open rehearsals, and more. All are free and open to the public unless noted otherwise, except Sightlines, which are free to event ticket holders.
