What's an enigmatologist? It's Will Shortz, crossword editor of the New York Times. The only academically accredited puzzle-master in the world, Shortz designed his own major at Indiana University, which led to his one-of-a-kind degree in enigmatology, the study of puzzles. His popular public appearances are highly interactive and immensely entertaining. Shortz will discuss his favorite crosswords and puzzle-makers, how crosswords are created, their curious history, and his lifelong passion for puzzles in general. He will also answer questions about puzzles and conduct audience-participation word games.
