Overview
Concertare, featuring masterworks by Vivaldi, Handel, Telemann, and Dall'Abaco
For more than a quarter century, the Grammy-winning musicians of Concerto Köln have specialized in the timeless repertoire of the 18th and early 19th centuries. When the group received the prestigious German Critics' Award, its style was widely acclaimed as provocative and nonconformist, full of emotion, and, above all, joyfully spontaneous. Today Concerto Köln plays "with inspiration and precision" (Jerusalem Post) and is considered one of the finest orchestras in its field.
