Richard Goode has earned a devoted following worldwide for his commanding performances of Classical and Romantic piano repertoire. Back by popular demand, Goode takes us again on a journey to the core of a work's soul, drawing out the music's expressive power with a sensitivity that brings even the most familiar masterworks alive in a fresh and illuminating way. His program is fun and eclectic: early Janáček pieces based on Slavic folk themes; Schubert's lyrical, buoyant "Little" A major Sonata; and the first dozen of Debussy's Préludes. "Goode's special gift has always been his selfless artistry: his penetrating intellect, warm heart and nimble fingers are entirely placed at the composer's service" (The Times, London).
