What does this symbol mean?
Rising star soprano Measha Brueggergosman's innate musicianship, radiant voice, and sovereign stage presence far beyond her years have already won her frequent comparisons with such divas as Leontyne Price and Jessye Norman. Blessed with "a lusty vocal tone and wonderfully knowing charisma" (San Francisco Chronicle), she is deeply committed to the art of recital and her programs are likely to include less frequently heard songs by Bolcom, Chausson, and Turina, alongside more familiar works by Mahler, Ravel, and Strauss.
Program: Featuring works by Reynaldo Hahn, Hector Berlioz, Hugo Wolf, Xavier Montsalvatge and William Bolcom
