Europa Galante
Fabio Biondi, conductor & violin

0

From La Scala in Milan to Los Angeles' new Disney Hall, from Lincoln Center to Tokyo's Suntory Hall, Fabio Biondi and his renowned Europa Galante are acclaimed for their deeply felt and passionate performances of Baroque and Classical masterworks. Biondi is one of the most important and influential figures of the Baroque period-instrument movement, and a worldwide audience has responded to his ensemble with full houses and massive CD sales. Critical acclaim has been unanimous ("Dazzling...vibrant, crackling, and assured," says the New York Times). This highly anticipated performance features a survey of superb music by composers including Leclair, Purcell, Telemann, and von Biber, and concludes with Vivaldi's ever popular The Four Seasons.

This presentation is made possible, in part, by the generous support of The E. Nakamichi Foundation.
