Founded more than 80 years ago, the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra has performed with many of the world's leading conductorsincluding Neeme Jarvi, Valery Gergiev, and Kurt Masurand recorded several internationally acclaimed discs for Virgin Classics, winning a Grammy Award in 2003 and BBC Music Magazine's Best Orchestral Recording award in 2006. Now on its eagerly awaited debut American tour, the 100-member ensemble appears under the direction of the sensational Estonian conductor Eri Klas in a program featuring 2005 Van Cliburn Silver Medalist Joyce Yang at the piano.
